Senior Middle Hitter Cassie Nosal Honorable Mention Team All Star

Senior Libero Ejada Montgomery Honorable Mention Team All Star

Senior Outside Hitter Siobhan Muscanelli Honorable Mention Team All Star

Congrats to our All Stars and please come out and root for all the Lady
Knights on Friday as they host Holy Names in a Class B Quarterfinal

CROSS COUNTRY BIG 10 CHAMPS!!!

Congratulations to the cross country teams for their performances at the Big 10 Championships yesterday as all five teams won team titles.
The varsity girls won the team title by beating runner-up Amsterdam by 28 points. The team was lead by the Individual win by Talya Williams, who has now won 3 straight Big 10 titles. Also placing were Lilianna Matala in 2nd, Ali Lemme in 4th, Gwyn Sise in 6th, and Claire Sise in 8th.
The varsity boys won by beating runner-up C.B.A. by 57 points. The team was led by Jordan Pantalone, Jason Lange, Matt Lange, and Jonah Allard placing 2nd through 5th. The team also had Nick Przekurat in 10th, Mike Sinkora in 15th and Lucas Chico in 18th place.
The J.V. Boys also won the team title by beating runner-up Albany High by 30 points. The team was led by individual champion Chris Homenick and he was closely followed by Stephen Dixon in 2nd, Matt Chico in 4th, Dan Asselin in 7th, Will Johnson in 9th, and Robert Paley in 11th place.
The modified boys won the team title over runner-up C.B.A. by 9 points. The team was led by individual champion Noah Allard. Placing after him were Konrad Dryzmalski in 4th, Steven Methe in 7th, Kyle Dikeman in 8th, Brendon Cain in 14th, Gage Cuomo in 16th, and Will Salavantis in 20th place.
The modified girls won the team title over runner-up Schenectady by 16 points. The team was led by Kelsey Roberts in 2nd, Gabby Giordano in 3rd, Kacey Duncan in 6th, Nadia Vendetti in 8th, Grace Hamilton in 17th, and Sydney Smith in 18th place.
The modified teams have wrapped up their seasons but the varsity teams will race next at the Section 2 Championships next Friday at Saratoga State Park.

Cross Country News

Congratulations to the cross country teams for their wins yesterday against Amsterdam and Bishop Maginn. The big race of the day was the varsity girls as the girls beat Amsterdam, their main Big 10 competition, by four points. The varsity girls were led by individual winner Talya Williams and following her were Lilianna Matala in 3rd, Gwyn Sise in 6th, Claire Sise in 7th, Anne Ryan in 9th, and Ali Lemme in 10th…The varsity boys easily won taking the top five places. The varsity were led by individual winner Matt Lange and was closely followed by Nick Przekurat, Jonah Allard, Jason Lange, and Jordan Pantalone. The modified boys beat Amsterdam by 24 points with Noah Allard winning the race with Charles Ross, Brendon Cain, Steve Methe, Kyle Dikeman, and Gage Cuomo taking the 3rd through 7th places. The modified girls beat Amsterdam by one point with Kelsey Roberts winning the individual title. Also leading the team were Gabby Giordano in 3rd, Nadia Vendetti in 5th, Kacey Duncan in 8th, and Grace Hamilton in 10th. The next meet will be this Saturday at the Manhattan Invitational in New York City
